Leticia SERE (1986, Brussels) is a multidisciplinary artist, curator, and founder of Grafik : a dynamic meeting space, gallery, and bookstore dedicated to illustration and graphic arts in Brussels. Her artistic journey began at a young age with live model drawing, eventually evolving into painting and organizing small exhibitions by the time she was 18.

She studied art history and archaeology at VUB (Brussels), specializing in visual arts and exploring art in public spaces for her thesis. During her studies, she completed an internship at the House of Magritte, immersing herself in the world of one of her favorite painters. After a brief course in business management, she continued her education at UAL (London, UK), studying illustration. As an illustrator, working under the name Leti Confetti, she is known for her eclectic and vibrant works, spanning illustrations, paintings, and murals. Leticia’s favorite projects seamlessly blend playful creativity, bold colors, and a deep commitment to social and ecological themes.

In 2018, she founded Grafik, which has since become a cornerstone of the Brussels art scene. Grafik has hosted over 150 events focused on illustration, books, and printed imagery, collaborating with major institutions and organizing the popular Drink & Draw events across the city. These gatherings have brought art to life in iconic venues like museums, art festivals, book fairs, and cultural centers.

Grafik not only showcases a wide range of artworks by Belgian and international artists but also fosters artistic experimentation through regular risography workshops and signings with alternative comic book authors. With more than 54 curated exhibitions, Grafik has built a unique collection of risograph, silkscreen and giclée prints representing a vibrant cross-section of contemporary illustration. The exhibitions are known for their imaginative curation, often combining original works and prints with matching murals and unexpected mediums from stickers and textiles to mirrors.

Through Grafik, Leticia continues to push the boundaries of illustration, creating a space where artists and art lovers can explore, connect, and celebrate visual storytelling in all its forms. As she steps back into painting, her artistic practice reflects the same curiosity and passion that have defined her career, bridging her roles as an artist and a vibe director of Grafik’s creative community.
